The Nodebots Durban community is hosting a meet up for anybody interested in Node.js driven robotics, whether you are a beginner or have built your own Node.js powered Iron Man suit.
Essentially Nodebots are robots controlled by javascript. That's right... if you've any JavaScript experience, you can now use your powers to manipulate the machines. From blinking lights to Sumo Bot battles, Remote control cats, and Bull fighting with quadcopters.... So, JS + Hardware = NodeBots. This event will be a session where people meet-up and hack together on Arduinos, and any other gizmos that just need more input... If you have no idea how to use an LED, have no fear - a NodeBot expert will be on hand to help you hack, solder, your way to an understanding of what a full fledged NodeBot can do. Join us! Gather with a group of people near you and hack together something awesome. Kaleidocode is proud to support this Nodebots initiative. @kaleidocode Kaleidocode Pty Ltd Office 200, 295 Florida Rd Morningside Durban
