Office, HR & Finance Coordinator


Our Durban-based tech company is looking for a highly organised and capable Coordinator to support our Finance and HR teams, while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
​

Although based at reception, this is not a receptionist role. It is a varied coordination role supporting multiple areas of the business, within a young, positive and professional environment. As a tech company, all processes and systems are digitally driven.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Finance Administration
  • Leave management and reconciliations
  • Expense and travel claims 
  • Petty cash management and reconciliations
  • ​Supporting compliance processes (OHS, POPI)

​​2. HR Coordination
  • Recruitment coordination (CV screening, setting up interviews)
  • Onboarding and offboarding coordination 
  • Training scheduling and reporting
  • Staff communications (newsletters, reminders, internal updates)

3. General 
  • Procurement (groceries, stationery, office supplies)
  • Managing service providers and office logistics
  • Travel bookings and itineraries
  • Supporting internal events and committees
  • ​Assist with marketing

​4. Reception & Office Oversight
  • Welcoming visitors and answering calls
  • Ensuring meeting rooms and office spaces are in order
  • Overseeing cleaner and ensuring general office upkeep

We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Highly organised – able to track, prioritise and manage multiple tasks across teams
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented – produces accurate work and follows processes carefully
  • Proactive and reliable – takes ownership and follows through without needing reminders
  • Strong communicator – clear, professional, and able to follow instructions accurately
  • Adaptable – comfortable working across different tools and types of work
  • ​Service-oriented – willing to help where needed, including practical office tasks

Requirements
  • Matric + 3+ years’ experience in a similar administrative/coordinator role
  • Qualifications advantageous
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams)
  • Very good business English (written and verbal)
  • Quick to learn and use new systems and tools
  • South African citizen
